MiaoMiaoCarApp ("the app") is a companion app for the E.MAS 7 electric vehicle. It lets you monitor your vehicle's status and control your home BLE charger from your Android phone. This policy explains what data the app collects, how it is used, and how it is stored.
Your phone number is used to authenticate with the E.MAS vehicle API. It is sent to the API server at login and is not stored on the device beyond the active session.
An authentication token received after a successful login is stored locally on your device so you do not have to log in again after restarting the app. It is removed when you log out.
Vehicle status information (battery level, charging state, location coordinates, odometer, AC status, door/window status, and related telemetry) is fetched from the E.MAS API and displayed in the app. This data is not stored persistently on the device; it is only held in memory while the app is open.
The Bluetooth MAC address of your home charger is saved locally on the device so the app can reconnect automatically on future launches. It is not transmitted to any server.

Vehicle and account data is used solely to display information to you within the app and to send commands (e.g. start/stop AC, start/stop charging) on your behalf to the E.MAS API.
No data is used for advertising, analytics, or profiling. No data is sold or shared with third parties.
The app communicates with the E.MAS vehicle API (emas-app.acotech.my) to retrieve vehicle status and send commands. Data sent to this API is governed by the privacy policy of ACOTECH (the API provider). The app does not integrate any analytics SDKs, advertising networks, or crash-reporting services.
The authentication token stored on your device is deleted when you log out from the app. The saved Bluetooth MAC address can be cleared by uninstalling the app or by connecting to a different charger. No data is retained on any server operated by the app developer; all account and vehicle data resides on the E.MAS API servers operated by ACOTECH.
The app is not directed at children under the age of 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
If this policy is updated, the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will be revised. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
